As much promise as this game seemed to have, it's an irritating slog to play.

The game's problem is that it's a stealth game without any stealth mechanics. The mice, are almost everywhere, and if there's a location that doesn't have any mice, there will be some soon. They're so dense that having your path physically blocked by them is almost as much of a problem as actually alerting them. There's no way to hide from them or avoid them. The only two ways to deal with them are to bonk them on the head (only feasible in the rare case where they're the only one around), or to just hit the run button whenever one notices you. This mechanic doesn't feel fun, and the results don't seem consistent (I got the impression that how fast mice are to alert might be tied to how close you are to them. If so, this wasn't properly conveyed.).

Once you find your target, these issues only worsen. It's pretty much impossible to tail them for any length of time, since the running strategy prevents you from every staying still or moving at a consistent pace. Your best option is generally just to bum-rush them the second you see them, provided there are no wolf cops around.. While the police will almost certainly be called, it doesn't matter much anyway, because bagging your victim takes away your ability to run, your one method of "stealth". Once your victim is bagged, the only thing you can do is get back to the bakery before the timer runs out, and hope you don't run into any wolf cops.

I completed the first three missions. The first one was actually very easy; all I had to do was wait outside the 6/11 till my target showed up. The other two felt more like I won them through luck than through skill; I didn't feel satisfied upon completing them. I am stuck on the last mission. I was eventually able to figure out how to deal with the panda (SPOILER INCOMING) having a gun, but I found it impossible to bring the bag back to the bakery. There are two wolf cops stationed right outside the area i need to pass though to get there, and I have no idea how i['m supposed to deal with them. My best guess would be Drop bag --> distract cops with rock --> --> pick up bag again, but I haven't been able to make this work.

My most charitable assumption (and the one I hope is correct) is that there is simply something I do not understand about how the game is meant to be played, and that the fault thusly lies solely with the tutorial. Certainly, I don't feel like I learned much from it. It covered the actual mechanics of the game, but very little insofar as teaching me how to play. My main takeaway from it was that the most effective way to capture your target was to corner them, a scenario i wasn't able to recreate in actual gameplay.

All in all, I found this game disappointing. While I am no game designer, my suggestions for how to improve on these shortcomings would be:

-reduce the number of mice.

-Rework the tutorial to better tech the player.

- If possible, add a minimap. The mazelike town is easy to get lost in
